She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Downey and Mabel Downey (Kettleborough); her husband Bill; her parents-in-law, Harold and Anna Price; her granddaughter Sarah Joy Price; her siblings, Shirley Phifer, Wayne Downey and Ed Downey; and her siblings-in-law, Merlon Weidner, Dean Price, Joan Downey, Dorothy Weidner and Leona Price.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Price (Elaine) of Broken Bow and Karen Oberbrockling (Paul) of Kearney; her stepdaughter Nancy Starr of Sparks, NV; her grandchildren, Josh, Stacy Price of Mead, Jeff, Amanda Price of Wahoo, Kenna, Nathan Puls of Kearney and Haley Oberbrockling of Minden; her great grandchildren, Tanner, Preston Price of Mead, Ashtyn, Jacee Price of Wahoo and Rowen Morse of Kearney; her siblings, James Downey of Merna, Richard Downey of Lexington, Mike Downey (Sheila) of Arnold and Ella Mae Mapel (Gene) of Sparks, NV; and her brother-in-law Bernie Phifer of Franklin, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Govier Brothers Chapel (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822).
