She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard A. Stam and Genelle E. Stam; her husband Harold "Hal" Humber; her son Norman Rockwell; her brothers, Herbert, Merrill and Vernon; her son Steven Vaughan Humber (Kent Alan Humber); her grandchildren, Brian Vaughan Tadashi Humber (Blair) and Brittany Mariko Boman (Zack); her great grandchildren, Holland Mae Boman, Hinckley Jan Boman and Benson Darrell Boman; her son Kent Alan Humber (Candace); and her grandchildren, Conor Alan Humber, Carolyn Christine Humber and Christian Kent Humber.

While living at La Costa Glen, Hal and Mary Lou were very active in writing letters and sending packages to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan through the La Costa Glen based charity, "Care Packages from Home".
