With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Leventhal (San Diego, California), who passed away on August 20, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Leon and Ruth; and his daughter Nancy. He is survived by: his children, Joan Goldblatt (Steve) of Seattle, Robert Leventhal (Elisa Irwin) of Washington, DC and Cathy Pucher (Shawn) of San Diego; and his grandchildren, Sarah (Chris Emerson), Kieran, Dahra, Paige and Andrew. He is also survived by two great-grandsons; and his cherished nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Mr. Leventhal may be made to the Mathias Botanical Garden at UCLA, the City of Hope, or a charity of your choice.
