She is survived by: her husband William Dawson (Bill) of San Diego, CA; and her siblings, Mark Vogel of Denver, CO., Matt Vogel of Canton, IL, John Vogel of Peoria, IL, Sharon Artery of Lake Bluff, IL and Helen Kearney of Glen Ellyn, IL. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Monica to Special Olympics.
