She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Chester Hicks and Ruby Jean Gaines; her spouse Drafton Dunlap; and her sons, Cedric and Terrell Dunlap.
Viewing was held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (3045 Greely Ave, San Diego, CA 92113). A burial was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the Mount Hope Cemetery (3751 Market St, San Diego, CA 92102).
