We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2017, at the age of 98, Robert Foster (San Diego, California), born in Plano, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilda Ione Van Kirk and Royal Allen Foster. He is survived by: his brother John Foster (Mary Ann) of Rockford; his wife June Spandet Foster; his children, Kristin Foster (Frank Davis) of Cook, Melissa Foster of Chicago, David Foster (Melissa Wynne) of Evanston and Barbara Foster; his grandchildren, Tyler Foster Davis (Michael Boulette), Emily Foster Davis, Calder Foster Coalson, Matthew Wynne Foster, Elam Foster Coalson, Caroline Wynne Foster, Gareth Foster Coalson, Aidan Foster Coalson, Benjamin Foster Bruns and Nikola Foster Bruns; and his great grandchild Harriet Davis-Boulette. He is also survived by two brothers (Ray and Allen), and his sister.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorials be designated to Chikaming Open Lands, a critically important local organization working to protect and preserve the forest and wetlands of southwest Michigan.
