We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2021, at the age of 99, Ruth Ottilie Shimansky of San Diego, California, born in Maspeth, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Francis Widmayer Jr.; her stepsiblings, Fredrick Widmayer, William Widmayer, Dorothy Fisch and Catherine Andreski; and her son Michael K Shimansky Jr. Ruth.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Shimansky (Kathie) and Douglas Shimansky (Mary); her daughter-in-law Sue Shimansky; and her grandchildren, Sherri, Lori, Gregory, Cyndi, Jonathan and Marie. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
