He is survived by: his children, Santiago Covarrubias Jr. of San Diego, California, Eduardo Covarrubias of Las Vegas, Nevada and Carmen Azucena Covarrubias of Laveen, Arizona; and his brothers, Emilio Covarrubias Nuṅo of San Diego and Juan Jose Covarrubias Nuṅo of Chula Vista, California.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
