He was predeceased by: his parent Zakaria; and his brothers, Shafik and Rafik Tanous. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Rust; his children, Alia (Ryan King), Zachery (Fiona Tanous) and Timothy (Amy Tanous); his siblings, Evelyn, Nahi and Suad; and his nieces and nephews, Vivian, Claire, Elsie, Katherine, Teagan, Whitley and Wesley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
