It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia (Guemmer) Tate of San Diego, California, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on January 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Guemmer and Louise Guemmer (Buelow); her spouse Malvin A. Tate; her daughters, Paula Tate Montgomery (Bruce) and Susan Tate; her grandsons, Michael (Kristin), Scott (Rosa) and Bryan Montgomery; her great grandchildren, Brenda, Jorge, Lorna, Blake, Eli and Tatum Montgomery; and her siblings, Arthur Guemmer of New Mexico and Joanne Guemmer Ellison (Otto) of Massachusetts. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
