She was predeceased by: her parents, Mearle "Jack" and Joyce Newport (Birt); her sons, Donald Brown and Glen Brown; and her siblings, Nate, Kenneth Newport and Star Newport.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil D. Brown; her children, Ron Brown of San Diego, CA., Greg Brown (Ori) of Poway, CA., Brenda Sabate (Emil) of Killeen, TX and Wayne Brown of San Diego, CA; her siblings, Doug Newport (Jacque) of Cheyenne, WY., Sid Newport (Gloria) of Peru and Eleanor Sterman of Pine Bluffs, WY; and her grandchildren, Ashley Bennett, Dominic Brown, Shauna Smith, Daniel Bergeron, Victoria Bergeron, Jake Brown, Rachel Brown and Becky Jo Brown. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
