It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Swanner of San Francisco, California, born in Okemah, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Clarence R. Humphrey and Emma P. Hughes Humphrey; and her brother James Robert Humphrey. She is survived by: her spouse Garyl Geist; her children, Elizabeth J. Klinger, Garyl G. Geist, II (Lynn), Mark Swanner (Sue), Michele Swanner (Noda Roberson Swanner), David Swanner and Nathan Swanner (Ginger); her sister-in-law Betty Humphrey; and her grandchildren, Jordan Scheerger (Kasey), Joshua Klinger, Conner, Caden, Lillie, London Geist, Misty, Benjamin, Peter, Sarah, Dean and Emory Swanner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial fund or the Ardmore Animal Shelter.
