“Dear Gene and the Kubota Wong Family, With a heavy heart I offer my deepest sympathies upon the loss of your beloved Sue. I heard through our mutual friend Ranko. Sue was one of my best girlfriends during the turbulent 70's and magnanimous 80's. Although had not been in contact these last years, Sue and I stayed in touch through the decades. I always loved getting one of her handwritten letters. I'm sad I did not get to see her before all this happened. For now, I hold you in light and love.”
