He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ellsworth and Sadie Jane Shauger (Sisco); and his siblings, Nicholas Shauger, George Shauger, Jr., Elizabeth Ulrich and Sadie Jane Shauger.
He is survived by: his son Jay Steven Shauger (Trisha Crane); his sisters, Brenda Shauger, Pamela Conklin and Jody Shauger; his grandchildren, Jay William, Thomas Joseph, Logan Allen and Emma Grace; and his great grandchild Jay Alexander.
