He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlindo Bettencourt and Arlinda Bettencourt. He is survived by: his wife Natalia Resendes Bettencourt; his daughters, Nancy Nelson (Dan) and Marlene Fass (Manuel); his grandchildren, Kyle, Haley Bagne, Marcus and Mariah Fass; his siblings, Maria Alcide Silva, Albertino (Leonor), Ligia Machado (Jose), Lisi (Liz), Fatima Fortuna, Carl, John and Diane Bettencourt; his sister-in-law Stephanie Bettencourt; his goddaughters, Julia and Andrea; his siblings, Gabriel, Joao Manuel (Filomena) and Maria Guadalupe; and his brothers-in-law, Carlos Silva and Luke Fortuna. He is also survived by Many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Five Wounds Portuguese National Parish (1375 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95116). A rosary will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery (490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA 95050).
Agostinho was a member of Luso American Foundation, IFES Mt.
