She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Black Lewis and Abram Harold Lewis, Jr.; and her sister Karen Jeanne Lewis. She is survived by: her husband John Steven Cherry; her children, Sherri Fanger McInnes (Brian), Michelle Fanger Farley (Rob), Benjamin Fanger, Nicholas Fanger (Janell), Lance Fanger (Kate), Kristi Cherry Fletcher (Jason), Michael Cherry (Natalie), John Cherry (Carrie) and Tracy Cherry Haws (Eddie); and her siblings, Anne Hepner (Tom), Mary Isaacson (Mark), Laura Johnson (Dirk) and Bob Lewis (Cathy).

Flowers can be sent to Darling Fischer Chapel of the Hills, 615 N Santa Cruz Ave, Los Gatos, CA 95030 or in lieu of flowers, a donation in Connie's name can be made to the Humanitarian Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

“She was one of my best and favorite clients to work for. I worked on all of her homes including her mother's house on Chambers Dr. When I did her and Steve's house back in 2013, she wanted to make her first meal in her new (under construction) kitchen while we were still working there and made waffles and quiche breakfast meals for all 15 guys with fresh squeezed orange juice. My guys and sub-contractors will never forget that thanks to Connie. My condolences to Steve and the family.”
