He is survived by: his children, Juan Gabriel (Irma), John (Dorothy), Anna (Steve), Virginia (Jim) and Christina; his grandchildren, Juan Miguel, José Gabriel, Nona, Michael, John-John, Jenny, Alison, Tanner, Maya, Ashley and Diego; and his stepchild Ani.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to some of Juan's favorite organizations – Second Harvest Food Bank, Sacred Heart Community Service, Children's Musical Theater (CMT), San Jose Jazz, or Teatro Visión.
