She was predeceased by: her parents, Catarino Garcia and Elia Garcia (Luna); and her brother Marcelo Garcia. She is survived by: her close friend Favian Zefra; her daughter Rubi Colon Garcia; and her grandchildren, Kalvin Colon, Aylin Colon, Jayden Colon and Elian Colon.
