With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John James Shimko of San Juan Capistrano, California, who passed away on September 22, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Shimko and Veronica Lukatch Shimko; his brother Donald E. Shimko; his wife Alice Louise Kalmback; his daughter Cynthia Johnson Denise Bloomer (James); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Johnson, Jessica Peckham, Joylyn Erb, Chanae Moore, Abagail Bloomer, Spencer Ian Davie, Cooper Joseph Davie and Thomas Johnson. He was also cherished by 11 great grandchildren.
