He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley (Nowak); his brother William (Nowak); and his grandson Jeffrey Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Karen (Koch) and Sherilyn (Edwards); his brother Tom (Lawrence); his nephew Steve (Lawrence); his grandson Jason (Edwards); and his great grandchildren, Madeira, Bryson and Carson (Edwards).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Dean's memory be sent to the church for beautification and continued restoration or American Kidney Fund (http://www.kidneyfund.org).
