He is survived by: his sister Patti Daley; his husband Eliot; his children, Alison, Shannon, Jad, Kim Hanafee (John Hanafee) and John R. Litzenberg III; and his grandchildren, Mary Litzenberg and Julia Hanafee. He is also survived by married in 1966, and with whom he raised their twi children.
