It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Lyle Ekman (Santa Paula, California), born in Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away on June 28, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, William E. and Louise Ekman; his sibling Mary Ekman Johnson; his children, Ellen Nisbet, Linda Ekman, David Ekman (Ginna) and Jill Ekman (Ken); his grandchildren, Eric (Carrie), Heather (Raul), Bradley Nisbet, Quinn Richards, Dustin, Kaitlin (Jericho), Christopher Farris, Lauren, Sarah, Elle Ekman, Madison Robinson and Hunter Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Kelsey, Stella, Gavin, Fletcher and Leo.

In lieu of flowers, doantions could be made to the Santa Paula Airport Museum or Santa Clara Valley Hospice.
