He is survived by: his parents, William E. and Louise Ekman; his sibling Mary Ekman Johnson; his children, Ellen Nisbet, Linda Ekman, David Ekman (Ginna) and Jill Ekman (Ken); his grandchildren, Eric (Carrie), Heather (Raul), Bradley Nisbet, Quinn Richards, Dustin, Kaitlin (Jericho), Christopher Farris, Lauren, Sarah, Elle Ekman, Madison Robinson and Hunter Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Kelsey, Stella, Gavin, Fletcher and Leo.
In lieu of flowers, doantions could be made to the Santa Paula Airport Museum or Santa Clara Valley Hospice.
