He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquina Cruz, and Juan Cruz, Sr.; and his siblings, Martha, Arthur and James.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Cruz, Cynthia Cruz, Catherine Cruz, Rick Marquez, Julie Lopez-Olmos and Juan Jesus Cruz; and his sister Jane Duron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
