It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yolande Rene (Seaside, California), who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexina René and Judge Joseph Raphael; her son Hubert Jeanty, Jr.; the father of her child Dr. Hubert Jeanty Sr.; and her brother Yves Rene.
She is survived by: her son Patrick Jeanty; her daughter-in-law Kalila; her grandchildren, Illiana Thomas, Kareema Thomas, Gabrielle Jeanty, Yolanda Laila Jeanty, Raymond Butler, Jasmine Jones, Hakeem Musawwir and Miquelle Alston; her great grandchildren, Jeremy Terrell Jeanty, Nur Jones and Xayn Jones-McGee; her siblings-in-law, Yanick René and Gerard Jeanty; her nieces, Liliane René, Josyane René-Roche (Darren Roche) and Katryna René-Robinson (Albennie Robinson); her family Marie Carmelle Silberzweig (family: Edouard Adam, Mona Adam, Lucien Adam, Jocelyne Castro, Marie Edith Adam, Herve Adam, Lesly Barthelemy, Francis Barthelemy); her friend Jeanne Berrouet; and her family, Frances Butler, Asa Holloman and Seretta Connor. She is also survived by cousins who are more like brothers and sisters.
