He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Peter Johnson and Meta L. Johnson; and his sisters, Dorthy Corbin (Dave) and Bonnie Simonsen (Harry). He is survived by : his significant other Sandra Johnson; and his stepsons, Bob (Chris), Jim and Ed Valenti (Lea). He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
