He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Marvin and Ruby Leona Waldrop; his wife Pamela; his son John Grady; and his siblings, Betty Ruth Waldrop Bishop, Bobby Jean Waldrop, Ruby Lorene Waldrop Jones, Patsy Jo Waldrop Gracie and Jackie Ray Waldrop.

He is survived by : his children, Laura (Ron LaSalvia), Robert (Sharon Waldrop), Tania (Dani Schlatter) and Richard (Laurie Waldrop); his grandchildren, Dannelle, Juliana LaSalvia, Robert and Chrissy Waldrop; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Brody, Bree, Devin Waldrop and Samantha Sickles; his siblings, Donald Wayne Waldrop (Carolyn), Jerry O'Neal Waldrop (Elva), Charles Clay Waldrop (Marilyn) and Linda Faye Waldrop Jones (Danny); and also, Reiley, Ashley Waldrop, Blaze Tourney, Payson, Novalea, Brittany, Jon Barrera, Rose Allsup, Jessica, Chris Kayann, Nick, Gillian Waldrop, Emily, Oliver, Caitlin and Aurianna.
