It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Hartung (Stratford, California), who passed away on September 5, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Kennedy (Brown) and Gordon Kennedy; her parent-in-law Martha Hartung; her siblings, Elmer Kennedy, Beatrice Johnston (Kennedy), Lorne Kennedy, Laura Heibein (Kennedy), Leslie Kennedy, Harvey Hammond, Ted Reick, Lorraine Hartung, Delton Hartung, Aradith Hartung, Ken Hartung, Lyle Hartung and Margaret Hartung; her granddaughter Theresa Schnittker; and also Edward Hartung.
She is survived by: her spouse Wayne; her children, Bonnie, Paul Schnittker of Almonte, Bernard, Shelda Hartung of Kilsyth, Dennis Hartung, Debbie of Palmerston, Gary Hartung, Christine of Dunedin, Sandra, David Bender of Palmerston, Sharon, Lee Williams of Gowanstown, Susan and Scott Davidson of Owen Sound; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Lillianna, Ethan Halley of Almonte, Darren, Debby Schnittker of Miramichi, Carrie (Hartung), Brendan, Trevor, Mason Whitfield of Stratford, Bryon, Amanda, Hudson, Madelynn Hartung of Baden, Helaena Hartung of Owen Sound, Lilliah (Hartung), Aidan Walsh of Owen Sound, Jillian Bender of Ottawa, Blair, Lindsey, Andi Bender of Gowanstown, Matthew, Nathan Williams of New Liskeard, Sarah Williams of Gowanstown and Spencer Davidson of Owen Sound; her brother Paul Kennedy of Kitchener; and also, Elsie Kennedy of Boyle, Ken Johnston of Edmonton, Marie Kennedy of Napanee, Phyllis Kennedy of Calgary, Georgina Hughes (Brooks) of Listowel, Isobel Kennedy of Kitchener, John Hartung of Palmerston, Joyce Hartung of Aberfoyle, Inez Hartung of Guelph, Joan Hartung of Palmerston and David Hartung.
