He is survived by: his wife Michaeleen; his children, Herb Breneman III, Kenneth Breneman (Giselle), Jeanne Breneman and Cindy Smith (Doak); his grandchildren, Emily Breneman and Amanda Breneman; and his sisters-in-law, Roseann Markert and Frances Tepper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
