He is survived by: his wife Betty Salley; and his children, Blaine Salley (Anita) and Karen King (Mike). He is also survived by four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, five siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in his honor may be made to Prosperity Avenue Baptist Church.
