It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Fruetel (Turlock, California), born in Lisbon, North Dakota, who passed away on October 27, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Fruetel and Laura Fruetel; and his siblings, Louis Rootlieb and Buck Fruetel. He is survived by: his wife Adeline Fruetel; his sons, Byron Fruetel (Lily Ventura) and John Fruetel (Danna); his grandchildren, Sheila Ventura, Carrie Carlson, Amber Fruetel and Axel Fruetel; his great grandchildren, Cailynn and Bobby; and his siblings, John Fruetel, Elda Rodgers and June Hoffmann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice in care of Alexander Cohen Hospice House.
