He was predeceased by: his mother Obie; his stepfather Elbert; his siblings, Robert Earl, Lee Ernest, George Sonny, Queen Ester Burton and Lou Ella Mcintyre; and his sons, Sherman and Stephen.
He is survived by: his wife Doreatha; his sisters, Christine Wilbourn and Sharon Myers (Rudy); his children, James Wallace Jr., Kenneth Gregory, Mary Roberson and Regina Ledesma; and his stepchildren, Velories, Phullis and Richard. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
