It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hopkins Tinei (Venice, California), born in New York, New York, who passed away on June 28, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Irving Beadle and Lillian Loti Hopkins. She is survived by: her children, Cathie Brooks Larrick, Peggi Nalani Larrick of Ontario, Aaron Tinei Su'apaia (Giselle Borland) of Honolulu, Manfred Arona Tinei of Venice and Kim Aloha Tinei (Desiree Acol) of Walnut Creek, California; her sister Ruth Edquist of Virginia; and her grandchildren, Krista Tinei Oakes, Louis Tinei-Acol and Alexis Tinei-Acol. She is also survived by great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
