She is survived by: her husband Juan A. Valenzuela Valdovinos; her children, Daisy Jolls, Michell Valenzuela, Yeritza Valenzuela, Rosa I. Valenzuela and Juan A. Valenzuela; her granddaughter Violet V. Jolls; her parents, Ramiro Aguirre and Maria (Refugio Fernandez); and her siblings, Javier Aguirre and Estella Aguirre. She is also survived by her family and friends.

She participated in the American Heart Association and participating in PTA parent programs.
