He was predeceased by: his mother Maxine Walstone; and his brothers, Larry Jones and Darryl Jones. He is survived by: his siblings, Vernon Jones, Marlene Cisneros (Ruben) and Rita Ventetuolo; his wife Jean Jones; his children, Kristina Smoot (Shayne) and Roy Jones (Roberta); and his grandchildren, Scott Smoot, Roy Jones and Rylie Jones.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Visalia District Cemetery (1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA 93291).
