She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Herbert "Herb" Daley; her parents, Royce Welch of Albany, California. and Alice Sanderson Welch of Albany, California.; her grandmother Rhoda Nunn Welch; her son Mark Hunter of Benicia; her grandchildren, Lyndsay McCarty (Jason) and Nolan Hunter; her daughter Lynne Ostler (Zane) of Jerome; her grandchildren, Walker and Mason; her daughter Terri Ashton (Roger) of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Gray, Sally and Lloyd; her great grandchildren, Paige and Henry McCarty; her brother Lyle Welch (Barbara); her sibling's children, Craig Welch (Diana), Jill Welch (Gina Peers) and Clark Welch (Maureen); her daughter Ashley; Diane McCombs (Tom), Gwen Frederick (Randy), Ken Daley (Holly) and Greg Daley (Norma).
In lieu of flowers, Jean asked that contributions be made to one of her favorite charities; The American Heart Association, UCSF Cancer Research & Care and the American Diabetes Association.
