He is survived by : his wife Kumiko; his children, Aileen Hui (Steve), Tracy Sakata (Corina) and Lisa Sakata; his grandchildren, Anthony Sakata (Shannon), Ryan Hui and Cristina Sakata; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Adeleigh and Lyla Sakata.
