She was predeceased by: her sister Dolores Moneymaker DeConter (DeSilva); and her son Dana Higgins. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Gunderson (Higgins) of Santa Rosa, Donald W. Higgins of Sebastopol, Charlene Collins (Higgins) of Sebastopol and Terry Higgins of Texas; and her grandchildren, Scott, Tim Gunderson, Lindsey Wolst (Malvino), Matt and Brian Higgins. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and two nieces and two nephews.
Before COVID, she had monthly lunches with a group of friends that she had gone to school with at Analy High back in the 1940s.
