Miss Hobart was my first teacher. I believe my class was the first class she taught at Catron, Missouri after she graduated from college. I always remember after all these years she was from Avon, Mississippi. I just came through Mississippi and thought about her. I remember as a 6 year old little girl thinking she was so pretty! I loved her and have never forgotten her! I still have her picture.

I am very sorry to hear of Diane's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all her family. I met Diane when she moved to Charlesmont with her family from North Carolina. We were in 3rd grade. I actually grew up across the alley from Jimmy Shaefer and knew him from that time period too. I regretfully missed our 50th high school reunion which Diane attended.
