She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Smith; her former husband Henry Oba (Hank); and her siblings, Marie Ryker, Harold and Charles Sumner.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Layton (Keith) of Alamosa, CO, Dwight Smith, Louis Smith (Pam), Alvie Smith, Vera Lingerich, Leona Schmeidler (Dan) and Yuki Spilker (Kenny); and her brother John Sumner (Shirley). She is also survived by grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandchild.
