She was loved and cherished by many people including : her son Christopher Salazar; her father LeRoy Salazar; her siblings, Geri Rivas (Abe), Bobby Salazar (Cherry), Rodney Salazar (Isabel), Oretta Salazar, Cathy Gonzales (Alfred), Mike Naranjo (Tish) and Georgia Rivas (Ernie); her brother-in-law Nash Martinez; her aunts and uncles, Bino Salazar (Phoebe), Richard Salazar (Cathy), Joe Naranjo (Joyce), Manuel Naranjo, Roger Naranjo (Karen) and Mary Naranjo; her mother Margaret Salazar; her sister Carmen Martinez; her nephew Brian Naranjo; and her grandparents, Eligio, Rosenda Salazar, Jose, Josephine Naranjo, Ed and Cleo Ward. She was also cherished by several nephews, nieces, Great Aunts, cousins, and many friends.

Sadly, she lost her battle due to Covid.
