It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Ray Nicodemus of Berthoud, Colorado, born in Alliance, Nebraska, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his stepfather Clyde Artz; his uncles, Charles (Evelyn), Ron and Ray Coker; his brother Joel Nicodemus; and his close friend Paul.
He is survived by : his parents, Janet Artz (Coker) of Bayard, NE and Larry Nicodemus (Pat) of Gering, NE; his daughter Savannah Merkel of Ontario, OR; his wife Michelle Nicodemus (Byers) of Berthoud, CO; his stepchildren, Chris, Sara, Ashlynn and Madison; his aunt Joan Coker of Scottsbluff, NE; his siblings, Robyn Nicodemus of Bayard, Brenda Schleicher (Chris) of Chadron, NE, Lorlie Dugger (Mike) of Melbeta, NE and Gerald Berry of Romney, IN; and his nieces and nephews, Selina Jahner, Cassy Nicodemus, Kyla Schily, Heather Wharton, Alicia Pitman (Adam), Teona Fritzler (Brad), Shelby Tanner (Clayton), Alexander Berry and Vance Berry. He is also survived by many great-nieces, -nephews and cousins.
