She was predeceased by: her husband William; and her brother John Carson. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Schmalhorst, David Schmalhorst and Brian Schmalhorst; her grandchildren, Laura Roberts (Matthew) and Matthew Schmalhorst; her great grandchild Emma Lani Roberts; and also Maria.
