She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Simmons and Anis B. Simmons (Durnell); her husband Richard; and her sons, Richard Jr. and Sherdon.
She is survived by: her daughter Allison Herring. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
