It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Brito Trujillo of Brighton, Colorado, born in Monte Vista, Colorado, who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emilio Brito and Tonita Brito; and her sister Mary Shilling. She is survived by : her husband Leslie L. Trujillo; her sons, Christopher Romero (Charlotte), Kenneth Romero (Rie) and Carlos Trujillo (April); her grandchildren, Brittany Chavez (Edward Berkeley), Eric Moore (Stephanie), Sebastian Romero, Lauren Romero (Chad Verdi), Alexander, Miha Romero, Izaac Churchill, Avery and Owen Trujillo; her great grandchildren, Scarlet Verdi, Heidi and Nathan Moore; and her brothers, Abel Brito (Pauline) and Emilio "Bruno" Brito. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, "adopted" kids & grandkids, newfound family, and good friends.
