Joy Iden Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy Iden (Wetmore, Colorado), born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Brompton and Lois Brompton; and her sister-in-law Twila Brompton. She is survived by: her husband Don Iden; her son Brent Iden (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Bruce Iden and Melody Nannemann (Shane); and her siblings, Judy Worthley (Jerry), Jim Brompton and Dorie Gill (Dan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Wetmore Community Center in Wetmore, Colorado (95 Co Rd 393, Wetmore, CO 81253).
