She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Boerger and Louise Boerger; her husband Leonard Betten; her brothers-in-law, Bernard Betten and Roger Meyer; her son-in-law Gerald Brauer; and her great grandchild Jerica Schuman.

She is survived by: her children, Sharlene Brauer of Lincoln Nebraska, David Betten of San Diego and Genevieve Gatterman (Michael) of Aurora, Colorado; her grandchildren, Thomas Gatterman of Broomfield, Becky Gatterman Carey of Glenwood Springs, Sheila Brauer of Lincoln, Tammy Brummond of Omaha and Troy Brauer (Jody) of Lincoln, Nebraska; and her sisters-in-law, Anita Betten and Dorothy Meyer. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery (6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (4500 E Hampden Ave, Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery (6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121). A reception will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (4500 E Hampden Ave, Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113).
