Gurule of San Luis, CO; his wife Benita Martinez-Gurule of Chama, CO; his children, Catalina Gurule and Angelo Gurule of San Luis, CO; his stepchildren, Alexandria DeHerrera of San Luis, CO, Emilia Valle of Chama, CO, Damien Lopez of Colorado Springs, CO, Samuel Lopez of San Luis, CO, Jacob Lopez of Colorado Springs, CO and Dylan Mejia of Huntington Beach, CA; his grandson Joseph Lopez; his siblings, Audrey Salazar (Frank) of Denver, CO, Daniel Gurule (Leslie) of San Luis, CO and Victor Vigil (Nicole) of Alamosa, CO; and his siblings' children, Dominique Martinez-Valdez, Briana Abbot, Brooke Abbot, Marian Aragon, Victoria Vigil, Dalylah Vigil, Daren Gurule, Devin Gurule, Jordan Salazar and Elijah Azariah Vigil. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and friends.
