She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Owens and Earlene Owens. She is survived by: her son Brian Butler (Maryanne) of Castle Pines, CO; her grandchildren, Carley, Caitlyn and Hayden Butler; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Majors Newton of San Antonio, TX and Brenda Jackson (Lynn) of San Angelo, TX. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Vista Grande Baptist Church (5680 Stetson Hills Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80917).
