He was predeceased by : his parents, Francisco Gallegos (Frank) and Eufrasia Gallegos (Grace); his brother Rafael Gallegos; his brother-in-law Glen Armstrong; and his nephew Jeremy Fresquez.

He is survived by : his significant other Filomena Gonzales (Mena) of La Jara, Colorado.; his children, Melissa, Chuck (Kelly) and Randy (Cindy); his daughter-in-law Beth Gallegos; his sister Glenna Armstrong; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Gallegos and Mary Jean Gallegos; and his nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Tracy), Rachel Gallegos, Raquel Madrid (Jesse), Johnny and Neil Armstrong. He is also survived by his family and friends, helping his family.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the St. Patricks Catholic Church (6455 Brook Park Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80918).
