She excelled in musical performance, participating in the women's choir and school theater productions, providing angelic solo performances, and landed the starring role of Gabriella in her school's production of High School Musical. Giordana's beautiful voice also earned her a golden ticket to American Idol at age 15. Due to her young age, the judges encouraged her to continue singing and come back when she got a bit older. She spent her spare time singing and playing her guitar for her family, friends, and social media following. Also, she enjoyed video game streaming, and showing off her trendy looks and styles online. Giordana was a lover of animals and nature, often admiring the blues and purples of sunrises and sunsets.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, L.C. and Trudy Pettis;her pet lizard, Mama Girl; and pet rabbit, Bunni.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory mother, Courtney (Anthony) Anderson; father, Lynn Pettis, Sr.; siblings, Sergio (Katie), Harmony, and Raniero; her maternal grandparents; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friend, Julian Romero.
